Character Animator at NAB show Vegas 2017
Thank you to Dave Werner at Adobe for the wonderful call out for our animation studio during your NAB Show feature in Las Vegas yesterday, where he was talking about the amazing innovation that is Adobe Character Animator.

Some of the cool new features for new for Character Animator (beta) in the April 2017 release of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Walk Cycles, Viseme Editor, Blending Modes, and live streaming via Facebook and YouTube, they have now made it possible to preview the animation in full screen and also stream using a pc with a transparent background.
We really love the new walk cycle feature, especially with the ability to use with the left an right keys, giving you the ability to control your character almost like a computer game.
Also the Mercury transmitter now enables you to have multiple live characters on screen at the same time, you can connect computers via an Ethernet connection and run multiple puppets through NewTek’s NDI supported broadcast software, we can see huge potential for this.
The improved visime editor is a great update allowing you to fine tune the lip sync by moving splitting and swamping out mouth shapes to fit the audio more precisely.
Check out the video below where Dave Werner explains the new feature 🙂
